I signed up for an on-line portrait class with Brandy York
and quickly realized I needed to learn face proportions before I touched the chalk!
This was one of my practice pieces for learning facial proportions.

  1. You are doing wonderfully!! Looks like you have been drawing for years and years!!!

  2. Your drawings look great. I can draw some. Actually, I was thinking about sharing some of them on my blog. As a child I use to would sketch images from the Bible...but then I stopped when life got in the way. I can't say I love to draw...because I usually want do it unless I have to. My daughter is always asking me to draw things for her. I really enjoy looking at your work. You are very talented.

    1. Thank you Trish. I am very new at this... but I will keep trying. Thank you for your comment! I must check your blog for your drawings. I bet they are wonderful. I think your Google site states you went to an art institute? That would be great!
